Chapter 16: An Ending to the first year

After explaining the whole saga to my mother she promised not to tell dad as long as my 2nd semester results were excellent.

I had dove into my books after the whole thing promising never to get involved again .

I had so much work too catch up on and half done tuts  
Well that's what you get for talking till the wee hours of a morning to a guy who was never worth the time 

You had put extra effort  I told myself  as I remembered my dad's words “you go there to study and that's it no extra agenda ...u a naive there's a whole unknown world people looking to bring you down” 
Funny how  our parents advice only makes sense after we do something wrong 
I finally caught up with all my work , my  last few  test marks where the worst I had seen. I barely passed but it was time for November exams I needed to put 120% and show my mother I was determined to make a future for myself....
It was tough  work...but shurk I passed and exams was over the moon I received a deans com ( 75%) and my mother was pleased I was glad I put all that boy drama behind me .
It was time for a relaxing December holiday with my family . Dad had promised to take us overseas for a trip.
Yumnah promised to show me how not to be a disaster in the kitchen.

After that whole Zaakir story ,we bonded and got that idiot back for lying ...oh the wonder of technology !

Here's to hoping I don't  'mistakenly' burn Yumnah's hair…

Don't worry not I'm not a ghost 

Just stole Adis blog  for a bit 


Well as you guessed my 1st year of campus is complete 
I have just experience one of the most toughest challenge in my life.  I had broken out of  the cocoon my mother has wrapped me in.

Adis is exhausted, I don't let her sleep much as I like retelling my tales to her while she's trying to fall asleep and she has to type then and there before it disappears...

Any way I decided I will give her time of and take a relaxed holiday before my 2nd year
